Colour Wheel
A colour wheel or color circle is an abstract illustrative organization of colour hues around a circle that shows relationships between primary colours, secondary colours, tertiary colours etc.
Tone Colour
A tone is the mixture of a colour with black, which increases darkness.
Tint Colour
A tint is the mixture of a colour with white, which increases lightness.
Complementary Colour
Two colours on opposite sides of the color wheel, which when placed next to each other make both appear brighter.
Analogous Colour
Analogous colours are groups of three colours that are next to each other on the colour wheel, with one being the dominant colour, which tends to be a primary or secondary colour, and one on either side of the colour.
